HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR

15 08 2011

Willard North family!!!  Summer is drawing to a close and we are gearing up for a new school year!  This year’s theme is “Being a Tiger is GRReat!”  The GRR goes along with our positive behavior support we are implementing schoolwide this year!!!

Tuesday, August 16th is our Meet the Teacher Night.

Grades Kindergarten and 1st are meeting from 6:00-6:30 pm

2nd and 3rd grades will meet from 6:30-7:00 pm

4th grades will meet from 7:00-7:30 pm

Please be aware the student handbook is located on our blog as well as your teacher’s blog.  We will not be handing out a paper copy unless requested by the parent.

The first day of school is a very special time.  There will be many students who are dropped off by parents on the first day.  Teachers are very excited to meet students and start the school day.  Please be mindful they are following a strict schedule starting at 8:40 when the bell rings. on Thursday.

If you are picking up your child after school school on the first dayor throughout the year, please wait in the front foyer and your child will come down.  Our hallways are very narrow and there is a lot of conjestions on a regular day.  We ask that you wait up front so teachers can get your little ones to you.

We hope to see each and every one of you on “Meet the Teacher Night”.  Enjoy the last few days of vacation!
