Happy Friday!  Just a few reminders for next week:

SUPER TIGER:  Will be Wednesday, February 29th at 2:30.

FUNDRAISING COUPONS:  The deadline for returning the green fundraising coupons out of your packet is on Monday.  We will be drawing names during Super Tiger of the students who brought back their coupons for a fabulous prize.

READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK

Read Across America Week is February 27th – March 2.  We will be celebrating with a different activity everyday

MONDAY – Crazy Sock Day

TUESDAY – Green Day

WEDNESDAY – Stripes Day

THURSDAY – Hat Day

FRIDAY – Costumes for Community Day.  Dress like your favorite storybook character.  The proceeds will go towards “One for Books”.

2/21 Family Movie Night Tonight!

I hope everyone had a relaxing 4 day weekend!!!  It was nice to get out and take advantage of the outdoors this weekend!

SMURF MOVIE NIGHT – Just a reminder tonight is the family movie night sponsored by our Student Council.  Movie will begin at 5:30.  Popcorn and Soda will be for sale.

MR. Z’s FUNDRAISER – Today we will be kicking off our PTO fundraiser for this year.  Mr. Z’s will be coming in at 2:30 for an assembly.  Fabulous prizes will be available for students for amount of sales which include a limo ride and throwing silly string on the principal!

MCTEACHER NIGHT – Thank you again to all who participated in McTeacher Night.  We raised a total of $619.00 for the students for a schoolwide assembly on April 17th.  We will have a bmx trick rider coming in to motivate students right before our MAP testing.

2/6 MONDAY

Happy Monday!!!  Thank you to everyone who came to the high school basketball game on Friday night.  We saw lots of Willard North kiddos, and it was a lot of fun!

Just a few reminders for the upcoming week:

CANDY GRAMS:  The Student Council is selling Candy Grams for Valentine’s day in the front foyer in the mornings!  Cost is 25 cents per message.  Come and send a Valentine to a special friend or teacher!

UPCOMING “NO SCHOOL” DAYS:  There are two days coming up that we will not have school.  The first one is February 17th for President’s Day (if we do not get a snow day), and the second one is February 20th.  February 20th is a Technology day for teachers.

PROGRESS REOPRTS:  Will be sent home tomorrow for those grades that apply.
